What is Dewee?

Dewee is a multi-tenant AI agent platform gateway built with Go 1.26, PostgreSQL 18 with pgvector (standard edition) or SQLite (lite edition), and WebSocket RPC + HTTP REST APIs. It provides single-binary deployment, 20+ LLM provider adapters, 7 messaging channels, 3-tier memory, and inter-agent team orchestration.

Core Architectural Pillars

  • Single Binary Core: Runs as a static Go binary listening on port 18790 by default (cmd/root.go). Sub-second startup capable of hosting multiple isolated agent runtimes.
  • 8-Stage Agent Pipeline: Deterministic execution loop: Context → History → Prompt → Think → Act → Observe → Memory → Summarize (internal/pipeline/).
  • Strict Multi-Tenancy: Application-level tenant scoping (store.WithTenantID), isolated workspace context files, and AES-256-GCM encrypted provider credentials (internal/crypto/).
  • Dual Interface: Full WebSocket RPC protocol (req/res/event frames, protocol v3) and OpenAI-compatible HTTP REST API (/v1/chat/completions).
